We offer experience, creativity and innovative thinking. When you hire us you get the benefit of over 15 years of video production experience that spans documentary, special event and corporate productions.
John Morton has always been an enthusiastic movie maker. His lifelong relationship with film and video began when his father bought a Standard 8 movie camera. Soon after followed a movie projector and many memories and family events were recorded for the enjoyment of all ages.
After filming several four-wheel drive trips in outback Australia and several model aeroplane and helicopter events, John turned professional with the digital age. He continued to film trips to various destinations, selling many DVDs in a series of 4WD travel guides, but now also filmed many events including weddings, birthday parties and dance school concerts.
Soon he also extended his passion into introductory, demonstration and promotional videos for small and medium sized businesses for use on websites and at trade shows.
John has won awards in the Australian Video Producers Association’s national awards for his productions in the Documentary category for Tasmania: The Devil’s Playground (one of the 4WD travel guides series DVDs) and in the Performance – School Production category for a dance school performance. He has also been a finalist twice, also in the Documentary category, for Savannah Way and On the Track of Burke and Wills (2 more titles in the 4WD travel guides series).
John has achieved accreditation with the Australian Video Producers Association in both special event category and corporate production.
As well as being a dedicated film maker, John is a keen trombone player and plays regularly with the Heidelberg Symphony Orchestra each year.
